IACC Sunday School Mission Statement

The Sunday Islamic School intends to provide a place and environment for students to acquire and practice the Islamic education. We attempt to assist our children to follow the Islamic way of life while living in un-Islamic surroundings.

Sunday Islamic School Policies

Admission/Enrollment

  • The child should be 5 years of age by September 1 to be eligible for enrollment in Level 1.
  • If a Child is requested for admission in a class higher than his/her age group, the School will conduct a comprehensive examination based upon the requested classes curriculum to validate the student’s knowledge. The student must score 90% or better for admission in the requested grade.

    Masjid: 10:30AM – 2:00 PM
    Tabani Center: 10:15 AM – 1:15 PM

    Zuh’r prayer is held at 1:45 PM at the Masjid.
    NOTE: Students are required to pray Zuhr and parents are strongly recommended to join with their children. Let us practice what we teach our children.

    Fee Schedule

  • $50 registration fee per child - covers the cost of books and supplies for the year
  • Yearly fee: $300/1 child, 500/2 children, $600/3children
  • Monthly fee: $35/1 child, $60/2 children, $70/3children

    • Attendance

    In order for a student to receive maximum benefit from his/her Islamic education, weekly school attendance is required. However, unforeseen circumstances and illnesses may require the student to be absent on certain occasion. Therefore, the Sunday Islamic School has adopted the following attendance regulations:
  • In all cases, a note from the parents must be presented to the IACC Islamic School Attendance Office stating the purpose of the absence.

    • Books

  • The School at no additional cost will furnish required books for the semester.
  • Students are expected to take care of the books and bring them to School on every school day.
  • School will charge the cost of the books in case second copy needs to be acquired, for example, if original books are lost etc

    • Exams

  • There will be 2 exams per semester (no exam will be dropped).
  • Make up of more than one exam is strongly discouraged. However, teacher will have the discretion to allow the child to make up the 2nd exam only if the child has shown good progress, conduct and learning while in the class. No additional make-ups are allowed.
