To help our less fortunate community members with preparation for the upcoming Ramadan, IACC will be collecting non perishable food next Thursday and Friday, August 28th and 29th. There will be a truck at the Mosque parking lot between Maghrib and Isha next Thursday and Friday to collect your donated non perishable food. |

| IACC Moon Sighting Decision |
| Imam Yaseen and the Shura had decided that in the future, IACC will be following The Figh Council of North America (under ISNA) for the beginning of Ramadhan and Eids as it is the most closely aligned with the global moon sighting and brings unity among our local community as other Masjids are also following them. May Allah accept our sincere efforts to bring unity within our community.

| Jabir bin Abdullah (RadiAllahuAnhuma) reported: the Messenger of Allah Peace Be upon Him said: ward off oppression, as it will be darkness on the day of resurrection, and give up miserliness as it was a cause of perishing of those who lived before you; it drove them to shed each others' blood and breach each others' sanctity.
